The cover is wound and unwound onto a spindle, which is immersed in the pool. On the motor side, the spindle and the cover are supported by 2 ball bearings, thus avoiding any wear on the sealing system.

The spindle is fixed with a shaft that goes through the pool shell. The spindle is rotated with a geared motor, which is placed in a pit adjacent to the swimming pool. The cover is operated by using a key switch. A remote control is available as option.
