Ocea has become a leader on both domestic and international markets of pool covers. We owe this success to the quality of our innovative products, the accuracy, rigour and flexibility with which we produce every component in our factory, as well as the personalized technical support we offer to our customers.

All components are manufactured in-house

From the extrusion of the slats to the welding of stainless steel structures, all components are manufactured in-house. This allows us to maintain a high level of quality and flexibility. This "made-to-measure" approach brings unequalled possibilities in terms of harmony between your pool, its surrounds and its automatic cover system.

01 / Safety

You have kids ? An Ocea cover is the best way to secure your pool.

Ocea automatic pool covers have been tested according to the french norm NF P90-308, for submerged and above ground installations. 

The cover easily supports the weight of a grown-up.

02 / Cost reduction

Installing an Ocea automatic pool cover reduces considerably water evaporation and therefore, your pool's needs in energy, water treatment chemicals and, for indoor pools, dehumidification.

You enjoy clean and clear water over a longer timespan and without any effort. This global reduction in consumption reflects direclty on the maintenance costs of your pool.

03 / Heating properties

The use of an Ocea cover drastically reduces heat loss by evaporation and directly impacts heating costs.

Traditional opaque slats help maintain the water temperature at the same level whereas solar slats will increase it by up to 5°C, thanks to their black bottom layer which captures sunrays and transfers the heat to the pool.

04 / Anti-algae profile

Ocea's latest Eclipse profile has been developed to block sunrays completely, thus preventing the formation of algae in the connection chambers of the slats. 

This new tri-extrusion profile has an additional anti-UV protection layer which improves the cover's longevity and maintain its aesthetical and mechanical properties.

Our systems

Whether you are building a new pool or refurbishing an old construction, Ocea has a solution to meet your needs and requirements.

We offer two different immersed drive mechanisms, with external motor in a dry pit (Classic type) or with an in-roller motor (Logic type). Our motors are available in various torques to meet the requirements of both small and large pools. 

All elements of the Ocea drive systems are made in stainless steel, to ensure the durability and reliability of our products. The limits of the cover are programmed electronically, which makes it very easy to operate: all you have to do is press a button to open or close your pool.

Last but not least, the integration of the cover in your pool is an essential aspect for which we have developed a large variety of solutions, either modular or 100% made to measure.

Letterbox

In this configuration, the cover is concealed in a wet pit behind the pool's back wall.

Ocea offers several solutions, depending on the size of the pool and the type of render that will cover the pit:

  • A stainless steel beam to support lighweight wooden decking
  • A system with a micro-beam and cantilevers with rollers for lightweight wooden decking, ideal if you want to keep the water level higher
  • Reinforced cantilevers with rollers, to fit heavier renders and keep the water level higher

External (Classic) and inroller (Logic) motorizations are both compatible with this kind of configuration.

Next

Backwall niche

In this configuration, the cover is concealed in a recess inside the back wall of the pool.  

For this type of configuration, Ocea manufactures a separation wall to conceal the cover. Depending on the size of the pool and its finish, we offer two solutions: 

  • backwall niche Pro: a framework in stainless steel entirely made to measure for your project and covered with 12mm thick PVC panels suitable for tiling or liner material
  • backwall niche Light: a system composed of beams with 8mm thick white PVC panels, ideal for liner pools

External (Classic) and inroller (Logic) motorizations are both compatible with this kind of configuration.

Hatch & Sun shelf

In this configuration, the cover is concealed beneath a false floor system beneath the pool's bottom, stairs or a sun shelf. The cover passes through a small space between the wall and the structure. 

For this type of configuration, we offer the following solutions:

  • The pool bottom fixed hatch: a stainless steel framework made to measure with 12mm thick PVC panels suitable for tiling or liner material
  • The first step system: a stainless steel framework made to measure with reinforced PVC panels of 20mm thickness, suitable for tiling or liner material
  • The beam system for sun shelves: a system composed of one or two beams in stainless steel to support stone cladding

External (Classic) and inroller (Logic) motorizations are both compatible with this kind of configuration.

And for more challenging projects or pools with special shapes requiring a "butterfly" cover, the motorized hatch is the solution to go for: the stainless steel framework covered with stainless steel plates opens and closes automatically to allow the cover to run its course.

Bench

This configuration is mainly designed for existing pools without integrated cover pit. The cover is concealed in the bottom of the pool by a bench-like structure which, depending on the pool depth and structure size, can be used for people to stand or sit on. 

For this type of configuration, Ocea offers the following systems: 

  • The Bench Pro: a stainless steel structure composed of two frames made to measure and L-shaped 12mm thick PVC panels suitable for tiling or liner material
  • The Bench Light: a system composed of 3 beams in stainless steel and white L-shaped 8mm thick PVC panels, ideal for liner pools

External (Classic) and inroller (Logic) motorizations are both compatible with this kind of configuration.

Above-ground

For above-ground installations, Ocea has developed the "Edge" systems, where the cover is rolled up above water level. They are available with or without covering:  

  • The Edge Simple is the above-ground solution without covering. The cover is supported by two stainless steel feet coated in white or grey. This system not compatible with PVC solar or transparent slats.
  • The Edge Bench is the above-ground solution with protective housing, composed of stainless steel consoles and aluminium profiles coated in white or grey. The above section of the housing is available in wood on request. All slat types are compatible with this system.

The Edge systems are equipped with specific tubular motors of 120Nm.
